A RANGE OF SUPPORT MEASURES TO PROMOTE, DEVELOP AND DIVERSIFY THE CITY CENTRE RETAIL OFFER

In the framework of the City Centre Action programme, the local stakeholders have designed a strategy to boost the retail, trade and services offer. The City of Angoulême provides financial support to retailers and the creation of new businesses with 3 operational schemes in defined areas. A range of support measures to promote, develop and diversify the city centre retail offer.

# AIMS

 

  • To develop and diversify the retail offer in the city centre while preserving its unique character.
  • To showcase and rejuvenate the urban space
  • To boost the atmosphere of the shopping district

# THREE MEASURES

 

  • SUPPORT FOR SETTING-UP
    Retailers having signed a lease on or after 01/01/2018
  • SUPPORT FOR RENOVATION
    Development, renovation or upgrading of the shop front
    Works to improve access to the premises
  • SUPPORT FOR BUSINESS SUSTAINABILITY
    Retailers having signed a lease on or after 01/01/2018 and paying property tax on built assets.
